FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION EDUCATORS AND TEACHERS
Similar to family consultancy, the work focuses on the development of a professional look to accompany one or more children, with the characteristics of this type of interaction and valuing the quality of the respectful professional bond.
Designed to strengthen your potential as an educator and exercise observation for what has room for improvement. A specialized and empathetic professional support for those times when we feel we need outside help to strengthen your way of accompanying.
My role is to offer dialogue and facilitate resources, study materials, tools and knowledge adapted to the needs of each professional moment at different stages of early childhood (between 0 and 6 years old).
The objective is to know the challenges that are present in the monitoring of the child, reflect on some themes to co-create pedagogical strategies, develop some coherent guidelines and practices that strengthen your professional potential, exchange references, materials, inspirations and accompany, during some weeks, how this is carried out on a daily basis.
Some topics covered: space planning, rhythm review, use of materials; conflict mediation, the image of the baby/child as a capable being and how this influences the planning of our rhythm; quality daily care, food as a socialization process, communication with babies and children (from touch to word), communication with families, self-education to improve our teaching practice.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. Initial conversation (1h)2. Submission of support materials such as articles, photographs, videos or other resources that support
what is discussed in the initial conversation.
3. Two weeks of follow-up and support (via WhatsApp messages), to ask questions, clarify, review objectives and follow up on what is happening with the new practices.
This last step allows you to integrate and accommodate what was said in the counseling (you can ask me, send me photos, videos or just tell me what those first days are like).

This type of advice can be carried out both for schools that want to analyze the educational project in depth, co-create the pedagogical bases that strengthen the essence of the center, design coherent practices in different areas, follow the implementation of the new guidelines.

4. Support and monitoring of the implementation of the new guidelines
1. Research and Diagnosis
Goals: Align expectations and obtain a clear picture: I) of the current reality and II) of the desired future.
Identify characteristics of the center (weaknesses and potential, needs, available resources and limitations).
Strategies: Initial briefing meeting with the collegiate or center management to review the process, schedule and align expectations. Then, the center will be invited to answer a questionnaire about its characteristics and functioning, as well as share the center documents used in its practice. We will also analyze other materials provided by the school in relation to the briefing and we will establish the main observation guidelines to be followed during the next stage with a focus on the defined needs.
Observation period: an observation period will be carried out to identify the pedagogical bases of the center in daily practice. Map where are the main difficulties and challenges that lead to actions that are dissonant with the guidelines of the center, as well as positive potentials and resources.
A 1-hour meeting will be requested during this phase to discuss and align strategies between the center and our advisory.
2. Strategy and Concept
Objective: Create and define guidelines that allow greater coherence between the intention and the educational gesture. Definition of the school's identity pillars and their translation into pedagogical practice. Develop guidelines and documents that strengthen the essence of the School and help its better functioning in different areas (philosophy and management, pedagogical cohesion of the educational team, monitoring of students, attention to families, among other topics).
What will be done: In a collaborative workshop with the direction of the center, we will work on some of the pillars of the educational center from the essence to the definition of daily practices.
The workshop will have two blocks of approximately four hours (time still to be determined) for this phase. At the event, the result of the observation work of the current structure will be shared, we will define key concepts together and we will collaboratively analyze aspects that can be worked towards a better teaching practice and school functioning.

4. Support and monitoring of the new guidelines
Objective: To support the educational team in the implementation and consolidation of new practices.
What will be done: Weekly visits to monitor the implementation of new practices and use of designed resources. Feedback from teachers and the center regarding the main doubts and challenges they face and what are the main practices in their approach and resolution. Revisions and necessary adaptations in the documents created. Writing documents to provide support and clarity about the school's practices and identity and to serve as a guide for the center's consolidation and future expansion.
