Playful Spaces
Based on the Piklerian approach, small group meetings of babies and children (0 to 3 years old) and their families will be held. Space and experiences for children to carry out their explorations and discoveries with an individualized look at their development and my follow-up. A pause and invitation for the adults who accompany her to enrich their gaze through observation and exchange.
Weekly sessions of shared observation by the adults and free exploration of materials and space by the babies, focusing on the development of movement and autonomous activity and the strengthening of the bond through interactions, with the guidance and presence of the educator/pedagogue.
We carefully prepare the space and offer time for the children to carry out their explorations and discoveries with an individualized look at their development and my follow-up. With specific open materials we create an environment for children to develop their potential in different areas (motor, cognitive, social) through movement and play.
During the first hour of the meeting, the adults present observe and follow the spontaneous activity of the children. I will be present as a mediator to provide whatever resources are needed at this time.
In the second part of the meeting, the focus is on the adult, while the children continue their autonomous activity, we will share doubts and comments about what we observe in practice, and reflections that arise to work on our potential as accompanying educators.
An invitation for children to fully experience their potential. A pause for adults to enrich their gaze through observation and exchange.
Developed based on the Piklerian approach, these meetings are always for small groups (maximum 8 babies/children 0-3 years old and a respective companion). They can also be held at the home of families who want to host this experience and have already formed a group (I prepare the space according to possibilities and in advance). Periodically, we open registrations for groups in a space already prepared by us.
At each meeting, topics related to early childhood are explored in a transversal way, always taking into account the reality and the particular needs of each family. Among the topics covered: the achievement of autonomy, spontaneous activity and free play, issues related to autonomous motor development, communication and mutual cooperation, limits as an act of caring, conflict management, the role of the adult as a reference, daily care ( hygiene, food, sleep) among others. Our goal is to be able to integrate, in a comprehensive and empathic way, the demands and needs of each stage of childhood with the experiences and transformations of the perception of ourselves as adults, enriching the potential of both within the family framework and daily life.
The meetings are held weekly and last 2 hours.
